Remembering The Beatles at Palace Theatre

Posted onPosted on 24th May

Back in February 1961, The Beatles made the first of their 292 appearances at the now legendary Cavern Club in Mathew Street, Liverpool.

50 years on, The Cavern Beatles, a band fully endorsed and licensed by the same club, will be coming to Mansfield Palace Theatre on Friday, 10th June, with a show that goes on a magical history tour through the works of the greatest pop music phenomenon.

It replicates, in both sight and sound, the excitement and energy of Beatlemania, the psychedelic era of Sgt Pepper, and the creative masterpieces of The White Album and Abbey Road.

Four costume changes and lighting scenes compliment the changes in musical complexity as the show on 10th June develops to its climax. A special feature of the show will be a recreation of the Savile Row rooftop concert from January 1969.

The band’s cast members, as well as being talented instrumentalists and singers, are dedicated Beatle fans, intent on recreating their individual characters on stage.

Book online 24/7 at mansfieldpalace.co.uk or call the Box Office on 01623 633133 or call in at the theatre on Leeming Street.
