Posted onPosted on 21st May

From toddlers to teens, those who love history and Shakespeare, or just the young at heart there are  family shows coming up at Mansfield Palace Theatre.

The Lion Inside leaps from page to stage on Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 June, a heartwarming tale about confidence, self-esteem, and a shy little mouse who sets out on a journey to find his roar.

Shakespeare in the Park returns on Sunday 30 June as Oddsocks present Julius Caesar in Titchfield Park. Rome 44BC. Egotistical Emperor Julius Caesar is sweating and the peasants are revolting.

Horrible Histories is back in with revolting rulers and mad monarchs from Britain’s past on Saturday 13 July.

Igglepiggle, Upsy Daisy, Makka Pakka and friends are back in their fun-filled live show Igglepiggle’s Busy Day on Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 July. Join Igglepiggle as he looks for his friends in the Night Garden by following their funny sounds until he finds them all! You’ll see all your favourite characters brought to life with full-size costumes, magical puppets, and enchanting music. This show lasts just under an hour and look out for  a very special visit from the flying Pinky Ponk.

Direct from the West End, the Olivier Award nominated smash hit show The Tiger Who Came To Tea returns on Tuesday 30 and Wednesday 31 July. The doorbell rings just as Sophie and her mummy are sitting down to tea. Who could it possibly be? What they certainly don’t expect to see at the door is a big, stripy tiger!

Tickets for all shows can be booked at or you can visit or call the Box Office on 01623 463133.
