Caring charity fundraisers Cory Marsh and his fiancee, Deborah James, who have marked the birthday of the NHS for the past five years, again brightened the hospital for NHS staff and visitors to mark its 76th milestone.
They took photos of their celebratory balloons around King’s Mill Hospital, Sutton, hoping that people would easily recognise various parts of the site.
Cory, of Mansfield, said: “The NHS birthday means a lot to me and Debs after the NHS saved my life in 2013.”
He thanked Jay at Mansfield Balloon Company for helping to add the letters NHS and numbers 7 and 6.
Cory and Deborah are regular charity fundraisers, and over Christmas support the Emily Harris Foundation by decorating their garden with festive lights for passersby to enjoy. The foundation supports King’s Mill Hospital’s Neonatal Unit and the couple have supported it for almost four years.
Their fundraising is now very close to reaching £6,000. Cory added: “Our fundraising means the world to us.”
