To mark Sports Week in the Idlewells Shopping Centre, Sutton, Huthwaite-based Taylors Trucksport Racing showed off its new truck to the public in the UK for the first time.

The Taylors team is on a summer break from the Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship before an appearance at Donington Park for the International Truck Prix in August.

On Monday Ashfield MP Lee Anderson (pictured) and Idlewells Centre manager Jason Truscroft were among the visitors to meet driver Mark Tsylor and the team.

Paul Horton, media manager for the team, said: “This was a great opportunity to show our new truck for the first time to our local communities before returning to Europe at the end of August to carry on the race season.”

As well as meeting the racing team, visitors could get Mark’s autograph, look around the race truck. and watch video of the truck in action from racing in Europe.
