Fine food and comedy action will be served up Only Fools and Horses-style at a fundraising evening.

Only Fools and 3 Courses at Portland College, Mansfield, on Friday, 11th October, will be raising money for The Armchair Club, which has been backing local sports people since 1982.

Marlene and Boycie will be hosting the Gala Dinner at Portland College, but will things go to plan with Del, Rodney and Uncle Albert on the guest list.

And will Raquel put in an appearance and sing?

An evening of chaos and mayhem with an extra-large portion of comedy is promised.

Organisers said: “Expect a big fun night out in a friendly party atmosphere with some of the finest comedy actors in the land, professionally produced to the highest standards with your enjoyment at the top of the menu.

“Guests will be able to enjoy a drinks reception from 6.45pm followed by dinner at 7.30pm. Between each course during dinner the professional cast of actors will entertain us with comedy sketches, based upon the ever-popular Only Fools and Horses TV show.

“And to finish off what will be a memorable evening, we will be entertained by Richard Comfort, a great singer with songs to dance to.

“The evening’s dress code is suits or jacket and tie for the gentleman and it’s short or long elegant for the ladies.

“This really is a ‘not to be missed evening’ and is perfect for entertaining friends, family, clients and business associates, with tables of 10 at £350, or individually at £35 per person.”
