Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is inviting the public to learn more about how the Trust is improving and revolutionising care on its wards.

The event which will be held 4-5:15pm in the King’s Mill Conference Centre, King’s Mill Hospital on Thursday, 11th September will look at how the Trust has embraced National campaigns such as #hellomynameis as well as driving forward many other improvements.

Other projects that will be covered are the Trust designed ward boards that display a range of information including daily staffing levels and patient feedback. These ward boards have attracted a lot of interest from other hospitals from around the country who are keen to replicate the idea.

The revolutionary VitalPac project that records patient observations and renders the traditional paper charts at the end of bed obsolete will be demonstrated.

Other areas will include nursing handovers and discharge service improvements.
