MANSFIELD is holding a summer evening market in the Market Place on Thursday from 6pm to 9.30pm.

There will be a mix of stalls, including food and& drink, leather bags and vintagewear, candles, bath products, craft stalls, tombolas, balloons, real ales and regular traders.

There is free car parking in Mansfield District Council car parks from 5pm-10pm.

The Crown & Anchor is holding a hog roast and a new business at the top of West Gate is bringing roasting joints, beef, pork and chicken, with roast potatoes and more.

Regular food traders offering hot peas and shellfish, burgers and hotdogs, jacket potatoes, ice creams and popcorn stall will also be in attendance.

For youngsters there will be a bouncy castle.
