Easter egg donation to Framework

A Mansfield business is helping families using food banks to celebrate Easter by donating 100 chocolate Easter eggs to Framework.

Pellacraft, which supplies promotional merchandise to companies, trade unions and other membership-based organisations, is giving the eggs to Framework users at Forward House and Elizabeth House in Nottingham.

Eggs will also be handed out to the young persons service group based in Ashfield, and other users at other Framework support service locations.

Pellacraft director Sam Pella said: “We wanted to donate Easter eggs to show that people do care. All too increasingly the use of food banks and homelessness is becoming the norm.

“It is a heartbreaking thought in this day and age and should not be happening in the UK.”

Andrea Carver, of Framework, said: “We would like to thank Pellacraft for thinking of our service users at Framework at Easter. The eggs helped to make the people who live in our services feel valued and show that their community care.”
