Businesses are invited to enter teams into a charity challenge.
Mansfield’s Parker PR is staging a fire walk to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support on the 8th April at the One Call Stadium.
Mr Graham Parker, creative director for Parker PR, said the challenge presented a team-building opportunity for businesses.
“We are looking for corporate teams to take on the challenge of their lives, to overcome their inner fear and achieve something remarkable – to walk on a bed of hot coals.
A team of highly-skilled and experienced trainers will work with and prepare everyone for the challenge.
“Imagine the immense satisfaction to be gained from achieving that amazing feat and the unity it will give the team; and then imagine the value of the support that will be given to families of people living with cancer as they get help from MacMillan Cancer Support,” said Mr Parker.
Everyone committing to the challenge must raise a minimum £150 sponsorship.
This event is part of Mr Parker’s campaign to raise £6,800 for the charity in memory of his father who died from cancer and all sponsorship will go towards the campaign.
