Coun Philip Shields, Portfolio Holder for the Environment at Mansfield District Council, said: “This is now an international and national award winning community event, which once again shows that our District and other Mansfields across the globe care and have pride in the places where they live.

“Congratulations to everyone who took part and well done to our award winners. It is really important we keep the momentum of this event going and have an even larger turn out next year. It is never too early to register, as the planning for next year’s event has already started. Hopefully, the message will get out there that it is not acceptable to drop litter.”
