The Organising Committee of the World Day of Prayer 2023 for Mansfield and area is inviting people to mark the day and join in prayer on Friday, 3rd March at Rosemary Street Baptist Church, Mansfield, at 10am.

World Day of Prayer is an international, inter-church organisation that enables the thoughts of women from all parts of the world — their hopes, concerns, and prayers — to be heard.

The World Day of Prayer worship service has a special annual theme, developed by women of a different country each year. This year’s material has been prepared by the women of Taiwan.

The Rev Maria Pap, of the Organising Committee, Mansfield, said: “Everyone is welcome to join us on the day, but if you are unable to do we invite you to mark the day in your home and heart by joining in prayer with women and men all around the world.”
