Variety at the Palace Theatre

There is something for everyone at Mansfield Palace Theatre in the run-up to Christmas.

From family fun with Gulliver to an audience with Anita Harris this month, variety is the theme of the season.

The theatre’s music programme includes many artists returning due to popular demand.

These include The Drifters, The Bee Gees Story, Mercury, Lee Memphis King as Elvis and Talon, who perform the best of the Eagles.

Other music shows include The Irish House Party, The Blues Brothers Experience and Barry Steele as Roy Orbison and friends.

Swansea City Opera are to present Mozartissimo this month, an enticing production that transports audiences back to an 18th Century salon with elaborate classical costumes and ravishing music.

Sally Morgan, world-renowned psychic and star of TV’s Psychic Sally, is returning with her live show.

Expect scandal and showbiz, 1940s style from Miss Nightingale – The Musical, now on its fifth UK tour.

London Classic Theatre is presenting Samuel Beckett’s 60-year-old masterpiece, Waiting For Godot, a play that moves seamlessly between comedy, burlesque and drama.

During the half-term school holiday, CBeebies star Tree Fu Tom and his friends are holding an action-packed adventure through the magical world of Treetopolis.

In November, Jane Austen’s Emma takes to the stage followed by Circus of Horrors – Welcome to the Carnevil, featuring ‘killer klowns’, sword swallowers, dwarfs and death-defying aerialists.
The Christmas pantomime, Aladdin, starts its run on 28th November.
