Kirkby Rotary Club is hosting a 40s and 50s Swing Dance Night at Kirkby Festival Hall on Saturday, 17th February, 7.30pm to 11pm.

Music will be provided by Ravenshead Swing Band, an 18-piece group of musicians.

“It’s an unmissable opportunity to dress up in 40s and 50s gear”, says organiser Rotarian Neil Lancashire.

Tickets are priced £10, including a pie and pea supper, and are available from the Festival Hall, or from Neil on 07831 691326. Proceeds will go to Rotary community projects.

Earlier in the day at the same venue, Kirkby Rotary is staging a Crafts, Community and Charity Fair, from 11 am to 4pm.
