Summer youth festivals across county

With the summer holidays almost here, Nottinghamshire County Council is preparing to host a number of summer festivals for young people.

There are number of festivals which will take place during the summer holidays across the county and there promises to be something for everyone.

There will be a wide range of adrenaline-fuelled activities, music and craft opportunities and the chance for young people to showcase their talents, meet new people and have lots of fun.

The events are organised by the county council’s youth service and there will be support from a number of organisations who will have display stands at the festivals.

Coun Liz Plant, Committee Vice-Chairman for Children and Young People’s Services, at Nottinghamshire County Council said: “Our summer youth festivals are a great opportunity to promote the achievements of many young people and highlight the work that goes on within our youth service.

“There are a wide range of fun events and activities taking place at each of the festivals across the county which will offer something for all young people.”
