Stallholders wanted for winter art market

Posted onPosted on 26th May

Small creative businesses, designer-makers, fine and visual artists, and more are being urged to apply for The Harley Art Market at the 2022 Welbeck Winter Weekend.

There will be more than 50 stalls selected for the event, which celebrates all things handmade.

It’s free to apply for a stall and application forms can be found on The Harley Gallery website. If selected, stalls cost from £300 – £360 for three days at the Christmas shopping event. There is also a discounted stall fee available for new graduates, starting from £240. Applications close 26th June.

One past exhibitor, printmaker Sue Bulmer, said: “It’s a fantastically busy weekend with lots of sales and lots of chances to meet new customers. I would definitely apply again as I found it so rewarding and such a friendly and well-organised show.”

The Harley Market has been taking place since 2000 and is a key feature in the region’s creative calendar. It is accompanied by Artists Open Studios and an Artisan Food Market as part of the Welbeck Winter Weekend on the historic Welbeck estate.

This year, the Welbeck Winter Weekend is on Friday 25, Saturday 26 and Sunday 27, November. The festive event will be ticketed and will take place in the Victorian Hunting Stables. The Harley Art Market stalls will be located in a heated marquee in the stable courtyard.
