Royal theme to Warsop Carnival

Celebrating the coronation of King Charles III — and red, white and blue — are the themes for this year’s Warsop Carnival.

Taking place on Sunday, 2nd July on the Carrs, the carnival will include more free activities than ever before thanks to its new charity shop on High Street.

Also returning for 2023 is a procession of the winners of the primary school kings and queens competitions. There will be music on the Main Stage and action attractions in the Main Arena.

On the Main Stage in the afternoon, from 12noon to 6pm, will be Mansfield-based singer songwriter Wes Dolan, Twoasis bringing hits from the days of Oasis, Mansfield indie rock band The Publics, and Supersonic Queen — a five-piece Queen tribute band.

Main Arena acts will include Stuntworld International, The Wild West Danger Show, Mansfield District Corps of Drums, and 776 Gymnastics Academy.

Among the free attractions will be Dave the T Rex with his mate, Blue, wandering around the field, go-karts for adults and children, a rock-climbing wall. a Bucking-Bronco Bottle Ride, a dunk tank, life-sized table football, and Laser Quest.

Car parking is free.
