Hosted by Portland College and Sherwood Pines Cycling Club, the Midlands MTB XC Championship is coming to Mansfield inMay.

On Sunday, May 10th, races for all categories of age and experience will be taking place throughout the day starting from 10.30am at the Portland College campus

For anyone who wants to take part in the races, entry is still available. Spectators are welcome.

Prior to the main event, Saturday May 9th will be a family charity day raising money for the college and is open to anyone who wants to try out the course between 10am and 3pm before the competitive races on the Sunday.

Professional rider Dave Fletcher will be appearing at 3pm on the Saturday.

A Felt 27.5 7 Seventy Mountain Bike worth £500 has been donated to a raffle, along with other prizes, which will be drawn over the weekend. All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the college. Raffle tickets will be available to buy over the weekend and also prior to the event from the college reception and Sherwood Pines Cycling Club.
