A pop-up Mansfield Museum will appear at JD Wetherspoon’s The Widow Frost in the town from Monday, 1st June to Thursday, 4th June.

It will feature a mini-display about Mansfield Metal Box and include photographs, copies of artwork and a small selection of tins linked to Metal Box.

The event is the start of a partnership between Mansfield Museum and the pub.

Mark Froggatt, manager of The Widow Frost, said: “Mansfield Museum is a real gem of Mansfield and it’s something I am proud to support.”

Museum development officer Jodie Henshaw will be at the pub to pass on more about the museum on Tuesday, 2nd and Wednesday, 3rd from 1.30pm-2.30pm.
