The inaugural North Nottinghamshire Food Festival, put together by North Notts BID, will see an artisan food market brought to the Old Market Square, Worksop, on Thursday, 25th July, from 10am to 5pm.

As well as local suppliers, the event boasts cooking demonstrations from celebrity chefs Brian Turner CBE – most famous for his time on Ready, Steady, Cook – and Dean Edwards – formerly of ITV’s This Morning and Lorraine.

Family entertainment will be provided by The Fairly Famous Family with their comedy chefs act, Liver Cottage, whilst the Great North Notts Baker competition will crown the best cake creation in both children and adult categories.

Children will be kept busy with workshops from Go Bake, along with ice cream making demonstrations from the School of Artisan Food.
