Miracle link for new additional needs charity

Posted onPosted on 13th May

A local support group for parents and carers of children with additional needs is merging with a well-established registered charity.

Send United, which started on Facebook, has become Little Miracles Nottinghamshire.

Natalie Lewis, one of Send United’s founders and a parent of a child with additional needs herself, said it was fantastic news.

“As a registered charity we will have access to more funding and resources, enabling us to provide more support and activities to our members,” she added.

Little Miracles Nottinghamshire will work with families who have children with additional needs, disabilities, and life-limiting conditions.

The new charity will be launched at a soft play party at Oceans Of Fun play centre, Hucknall, on Friday, 2nd June, from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.

Booking is essential to attend the party, click here to book a place.

A Little Miracles Nottinghamshire Charity Fundraiser will also be held at Unwin Social Club, Sutton, on Sunday, 25th June, from 11am to 6pm, with free admission.

It will include stalls, children’s entertainment, food and drink, a bouncy castle, face-painter, tombola, raffle and much more.
