Following two highly successful events in Mansfield town centre – Jurassic Mansfield and Armed Forces Day – Mansfield BID is hosting Superheroes and Princesses on Saturday, 20th August, from 10.30am to 2.30pm.

Captain Mansfield & the Stars and Stripes Party Centre from the Handley Arcade are providing a team of superheroes to meet, including Captain America, Spiderman, Thor, Captain Marvel and more.

Children can train to learn superhero skills in the Hero Academy, practise magic with Doctor Strange, jumping with Spiderman, and fitness with Captain America – and will be presented with an Academy Certificate.

Also at the event is a new business to the town centre, Little Princess Parties, Stockwell Gate, with favourite and well-known Disney princesses in the Market Place,

Visitors can meet them and find out how to be the best princess or prince, sing-a-long, dance, and have photos taken.

Those who go dressed as their favourite Disney character or Superhero, or in their best clothes, could win prizes in a fancy dress parade at 2pm.

Captain Mansfield & the Stars and Stripes Party Centre are donating prizes, including:
