Mansfield Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society (‘Mansfield Ops’) is performing the hit show 9 to 5 The Musical at the Mansfield Palace Theatre from Wednesday, 15th to Sunday, 19th February.

Performances run from Wednesday to Saturday evening, starting at 7.15pm, with a Saturday and Sunday matinee starting at 2.30pm.

With a rip-roaring score by the Queen of Country, Dolly Parton, 9 to 5 the Musical tells the story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era. Three workmates are pushed to boiling point by their sexist and egotistical boss, who is soon to get his comeuppance, in this outrageous, thought-provoking and romantic comedy tale.

By concocting a plan to kidnap and turn the tables on their despicable supervisor, will the ladies manage to reform their office – or will their plans unravel when the CEO pays an unexpected visit?

Inspired by the iconic 80s film, this hilarious production is about teaming up, standing up and taking care of business!

The society has been entertaining local audiences for well over 100 years and was delighted to be awarded winner of the Best Musical 2019 for its production of Guys & Dolls by NODA East Midlands.
