The Odeon Cinema in Mansfield is to screen a concert by ‘The King Of Waltz’, Andre Rieu, when he performs his annual summer cinema concert in his home town of Maastricht, the Netherlands, in July.

The concert is filmed in the town’s beautiful and historical town square.

It follows Andre’s first ever New Year’s cinema concert, which grossed £1,819m in the UK alone, and was also shown at the Odeon in Mansfield.

The summer spectacular, Shall We Dance?, features Andre’s 60-piece Johann Strauss Orchestra, world-renowned sopranos and tenors, and special surprise guests, and will be shown in cinemas over the last weekend of July.

Andre said: “Once again I am delighted to welcome fans from across the UK into my hometown of Maastricht, through their cinema screens in 2019!

“It is a magical way of seeing what for me every year is a wonderful occasion.

“This year will be extra special — performing the music of my heart: the Waltz. Come and join us for the beautiful Blue Danube waltz and many more surprises, some of which we will reveal during the weeks to come.
