June events in libraries

There are a number of events and activities taking place in Nottinghamshire libraries this month.

Among the highlights is the chance to meet the owls at Mansfield Woodhouse Library on 7th June and a screening of Breakfast at Tiffany’s (PG) at Mansfield Library on 26th June.

There are number of library events which continue to commemorate 100 years since the start of World War One. These include ‘My grandfather knew Lloyd George’ at Southwell Library on June 21 with readings, poetry and prose and local military historian Jim Grundy discussing the Battle of the Somme at Hucknall Library on June 27.
