The Forest Singers, a mixed choir based in Mansfield, is preparing for a busy Christmas season.

Led by former Cantamus singer Vicki Melling, and accompanied by Fay Shackleton, the choir is getting booked up for the Christmas season.

It will be performing for the community in a variety of locations, see its Facebook page for up to date details.

Tickets are also on sale for its Christmas concert at St Lawrence’s Church, Mansfield, on Sunday, 10th December, at 4pm, priced £5.

The choir was formed in 1971 when Welbeck Colliery Male Voice Choir and The Havendale Singers, a ladies choir, combined.
