Mansfield Museum is hosting a Fitness, Food and Fun Festival as well as activities for youngsters in April.

The annual festival, which will run from Monday 6th to Thursday 9th, April, gives people the chance to find out more about physical activity, diet, creativity, community groups, and charities.

A spokesman for the museum said: “We will have various fun activities for children and adults as well as being able to point you in the direction of individuals and organisations who can help you find out more about areas of particular interest to you.”

During the school holidays there will be activities for youngsters:

Tuesday, 14th April — ArtBeat! Paper Cup Frog, 10am-1pm, £1.50.
Wednesday, 15th April — ArtBeat! Unicorn Puppets, 10am-1pm, £1.50.
Thursday, 16th April — ArtBeat! Paper Plants, 10am-1pm, £1.50.
Friday, 17th April — ArtBeat! Paper Chain Pythons, 10am-1pm, £1.50.
