Team Vinyl, a Rainworth-based fundraising group, is appealing for raffle and tombola prizes for its annual Renfest fundraising event, which is returning this summer after a three-year absence because of covid restrictions.

This year it will be held on Saturday, 16th July, and will be raising money for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, North Anston, and a charity that helps youngsters and their families with children’s arthritis (JIA).

Renfest Family Fun Day and Music Festival will feature many bands and Kirklington Road, from the South Avenue entrance down to the traffic lights, will be closed to allow for a street party.

There will be food stalls, bars and children’s activities, including a bouncy castle, rides, face-painting and a visit by a fire engine.

Team Vinyl has supported local charities for several years and has raised more than £25,000.
