Concert to fight cancer

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra returns to Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham, on Friday, 28th March to perform an all-American concert, with money raised going towards funding three major UK cancer charities.

The concert builds on the success of a previous charity event in 2011, when the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s Glorious Gershwin concert raised significant sums for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The beneficiaries of the concert will include Cancer Research UK and Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust.

The programme, titled ‘I like to be in America!’, is a colourful mix of music written for the stage, screen and concert hall.

The concert begins at 7.30pm. Tickets are £10-£32.50 and available for the Box Office on 0115 989 5555 or online at www.trch.co.uk
