A full range of leisure, cultural and fun activities to keep the family entertained in Mansfield throughout the Christmas holiday is now available in a What’s On guide.
Mansfield District Council, Mansfield Museum, Mansfield District Leisure Trust, Mansfield BID, Mansfield Palace Theatre and Four Seasons Shopping Centre are putting on a wide range of FREE and low cost events and activities to keep the whole family entertained, starting at The Big Switch On event on Sunday, 20 November, running through to 22 December.
There is a Santa paws event on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11, December, which will see tails wagging when Santa opens up his Christmas grotto for dogs on Mansfield Market Place to raise money for Jerry Green Dog Rescue. Families can take their dog along and for a small donation of £2, receive a doggy gift and take a photograph with the big man in red.
Other events include Christmas wave raves at Water Meadows, Christmas carol service at St Peter’s Church and Christmas-themed craft activities at Mansfield Museum.
As well as craft activities, the museum is also hosting a Christmas market from Thursday 1 to Saturday 3, December, which is set to be bigger and better than ever before with over 40 stalls selling unique Christmas gifts for all the family.
