There is still time to view the work of mining artist Brian Morley, whose drawings capture the dangerous and unique working life of pitmen in Nottinghamshire.
His collection can be seen at Nottinghamshire Mining Museum, which is currently based in the East Unit of Mansfield Railway Station, opposite the Midland Hotel, Mansfield.
The drawings can be viewed for six Fridays from 23rd July. To book an appointment email [email protected]
The museum has been closed because of Covid-19, but has maintained its presence through its informative website — www.nottsminingmuseum.org.uk
The website showcases previous school visits, former miners’ memories and much more.
