Healthcare and pharmaceutical logistics and warehousing specialist UDG is hosting a jobs fair as it recruits new roles at its latest distribution centre.
The new 224,000 sq ft centre is situated close to Junction 28 of the M1, on the Castlewood Industrial Estate, and will be UDG’s fifth warehouse.
Although the company currently employs around 620 people, it has a number of positions to fill at its new site, including shift supervisors, transport supervisors, shift managers, an inventory manager, contract manager quality manager, training manager and an operations manager.
The jobs fair takes place between 9am and 3pm on 26th April at The Derbyshire Hotel, Carter Lane East, South Normanton.
Those attending the event will be able to find out more about UDG and the vacancies. They are advised to take along a CV and be prepared for a short interview.
Operations director Mark Langton said: “We have an enviable position as a market leader in our field. Our commitment to customer service and our ability to deliver means that we continue to be a successful business.
“It is because of this that we are expanding and we will be operating from five warehousing sites in the South Normanton area. The jobs fair is one way we can recruit for the new facility.”
There will also be opportunities for warehouse operatives and fork lift truck drivers at UDG. These roles will be handled by Freshstart recruitment. For more information on these jobs, visit www.fsr.uk.com
