Mansfield’s Making it! Discovery Centre attracted more than 2,000 people to its three-day, annual Festive Food and Craft Fair.

More than 40 stalls sold products including fortified wines from Spirits of the Place, chutneys and hampers from Mansfield’s Lucy’s Café, handmade cupcakes from Princess and the Pea and beer tasting and gift sets from Hops in a Bottle, Mansfield.

Festive entertainment was provided by Expressions Performing Arts Academy across the weekend with special guests Mansfield and Belper Rock Choir and Stagecoach Theatre School. Mansfield 103.2 broadcast live from the centre.

Marketing assistant and event organiser Abbey Clarke said: “We would like to thank all visitors, entertainers and traders who attended. After hearing such positive comments from so many of traders and visitors, we can safely say the event was a great success.”
