The Mansfield Building Society has given £300 to the 5th Mansfield Sea Scout Group towards safety equipment for their water sports activities.

The funds were awarded as part of The Mansfield’s Community Support Scheme.

The group has a beaver section for six-year-olds, who can progress to Cubs, Scouts and explorers.

The Mansfield’s branch supervisor, Carole Dallison, pictured with the group, said: “We are delighted to help. These long-standing clubs are essential to our local community and provide enjoyment through learning new skills in a social environment.”
