The president of the Inner Wheel Club of Warsop, Terry Newton, opened the monthly meeting at the Hostess Restaurant, Sookholme.
Guest speaker Paddy Holden gave a talk called The 25th Child.

She spoke about the challenges and heartaches of her daughter, Mary, who was born with cerebral palsy and almost blind.

Thanks to the dedication and determination of her parents, and the help of many friends and neighbours, Mary now lives a mainly independent life.

Members were thanked by the president for their work at the Christmas coffee morning.
Christine Fretwell and Sue Pasierb were praised for leading the Christmas flower arranging workshop.
