Even more people enjoyed a sunny day on King George V Park for the third Mansfield Summer Festival.

The event included dancing dog demonstrations from Double Dogs Dancing, multi-skills sports sessions, circus skills workshops and craft activities.

The next and final event takes place on Saturday 23 August at Chesterfield Road Park from 10am to 3pm.

The Mansfield Summer Festival is a new group of events run by Mansfield District Council across the District. Hundreds of people have already enjoyed the range of free activities and entertainment on offer.

Coun Philip Shields, Portfolio Holder for the Environment, said: “The events have proved to be very popular and it has been great to see so many families enjoying a free day out.”
