Mansfield Town revealed on Thursday that winger Sam Clucas, the subject of enquiries from other clubs including Chesterfield ahead of next week’s transfer deadline, is staying at One Call Stadium.

The 23-year-old has scored 13 goals in 48 appearances since joining from Hereford United last summer.

An injury in pre-season limited his opportunities at the start of the season, which has seen the Stags win two home games and lose two away.
