MANSFIELD Town wing-back James Jennings (pictured) is suspended from tomorrow’s League Two match at home to AFC Wimbledon.
Jennings, who struck the first two goals in the Stags’ surprise 4-2 win at Hartlepool on Tuesday, picked up a booking to trigger the suspension, despite claiming it was a case of mistaken identity.
Jennings said it was midfielder Jamie McGuire who showed dissent, not himself, before the yellow card was issued.
Manager Paul Cox is likely to recall Colin Daniel to replace Jennings, although he could switch centre back Richie Sutton who is likely to make way for the fit again Ryan Tafazolli.
The Stags, who have not completed back-to-back league wins since September, will hit the 50-point mark if they win at the One Call Stadium, a points tally often seen as a safety threshold to avoid relegation.
