Mansfield Triathlon Club’s Tony, Emily, Charlotte and Robert Alcock have all been in action in a series of high-performance race events.

In the European Triathlon Championships in Munich, Emily represented GB in the 16 to 19 age group category. Racing on the same course as the world’s elite international triathletes, Emily completed the sprint distance in 1hr 19 mins and 20 secs.

Fresh back from supporting Emily in Munich, the Alcocks were again in action at the British Triathlon Inter-Regional Championships (IRC) and Super Series Grand Final in Sunderland. Tony took part in the super-sprint race and secured GB qualification in 32 mins and 25 secs, good enough for third in age group.

Representing the East Midlands in the Youth event Charlotte came home in 44 mins and 39 secs whilst Robert finished the TriStar 2 race in 12 mins and 25 secs, also racing for the East Midlands.

Meanwhile, also representing the East Midlands race team at Sunderland, Evie (above) took part in the TriStar 2 race. Evie, who currently ranked number one in the East Midlands Race Series, completed the IRC event in 13 mins and 17 secs.
