Shot-shy Mansfield Town failed to test the home keeper in a second successive goalless draw, this time at the bottom club in the Football League.

And Alex Fisher and Kieron Freeman both went off injured to stretch an already threadbare squad.

Freeman went down after a heavy challenge and was replaced after just half an hour, while Fisher went off late on with his left arm in a sling.

Manager Paul Cox named only six substitutes because of his injury problems, one more than on Saturday, with Huddersfield loan striker Daniel Carr one of them and coming on to make his debut.
