Mansfield Town striker Rakish Bingham (21), has joined Football League basement club Hartlepool United on loan until the end of the season.

Bingham, leading scorer with four goals, signed for the Stags in the summer on a free transfer from Wigan Athletic.

Boss Adam Murray told www.mansfieldtown.net: “At the moment, Rakish doesn’t have an extensive amount of Football League experience, and this loan move will enable him to gain valuable match minutes.

“At this moment in time, we need someone in that position [of striker] who has ‘seen it and done it’ at this level. We are looking to add to our squad over the next few days.”
