Scunthorpe United winger Terry Hawkridge has joined Mansfield Town on loan until the end of the season, while
wingman Jeffrey Monakana is to return to Brighton and Hove Albion following his one-month loan.

Hawkridge joined Scunthorpe from Gainsborough, making his professional debut against the Stags on the opening day of last season.

The 25-year-old was a virtual ever-present in the Iron side that won promotion to League One last term.

On Hawkridge’s move to One Call Stadium, Stags’ boss Adam Murray said: “Terry’s a quality player. He’s somebody who can play either side of midfield, has great balance, delivery and experience at this level.

“He knows what this level is about and what it takes to succeed, which is a big thing for us. He’ll up the standards of the group and for us he’s a great coup.”
