Mansfield Town’s retained list will be announced in full early next week, but on Friday the club revealed Anthony Dwyer, Liam Marsden and Craig Westcarr had been released.

Manager Adam Murray said: “We are close to completing our retained list, which will include a number of players signing new contracts and options of re-engagement activated in certain contracts.

“As it stands, the three players mentioned have left the football club and we thank them for their time and effort towards myself and the football club. We wish them well in their future career.”
