Veteran keeper Alan Marriott looks set to leave Mansfield Town.
The club has confirmed it has not agreed contract terms with Marriott ahead of next season.
The 35-year-old, who made 201 league appearances for the Stags, keeping 66 clean-sheets, is now free to talk to other clubs.
The news probably brings an end to a colourful five-and-a-half-year stay at the One Call Stadium for Marriott, during which he established himself as the club’s first-choice shot-stopper.
Manager Paul Cox said: “Alan has been a tremendous servant to the club in the years that I’ve been here and I’d like to place on record my thanks to him for his efforts. I wish him every success in the future.
The club also thanked Marriott for his contributions.
