Mansfield Town have recalled midfielder Joe Fitzpatrick from his loan spell at Sutton Coldfield.

The Stags have called back the 18-year-old after a virus struck the Stags’ camp yesterday, according to manager Adam Murray.

He turned out for Coldfield on five occasions after joining them on loan in mid-August.

Fitzpatrick made his debut for Mansfield in February 2015 away at Morecambe and went on to make another four appearances for the Stags last season.

He is expected to be in tomorrow’s squad, as Adam Murray’s men travel to Luton Town in SkyBet League Two.
