MANSFIELD’S Samworth Church Academy’s year 9 and year 10 girls won the Nottinghamshire RFU Championship for under 15 schoolgirls in the first year the academy has taken part in girls’ rugby.
Players were Cerys Gardiner, Beth Leivers, Sophie Brecknock, Heather Bacon, Mariah Bartley, Emily Statham, Sydney Pengelly, Lucy Marley, Brianna Leivers, Alisha Gibbs, Oral Nixon, Ellah Chamika, Molly Green and Megan Webster.
