PUPILS from three primary schools took part in a basketball tournament at Samworth Church Academy, Mansfield.
Abbey triumphed over Berry Hill and Wynndale schools.
David Hunt, PE teacher and organiser, said: “We witnessed some fantastic basketball from budding young stars from our primary schools.
“It is fantastic that primary schools have a strong belief that sport and exercise is a way to ensure you have a healthy lifestyle.
“All the students who attended enjoyed their time and it was refreshing that many of wanted to play the sport even more so after the competition had finished.”
