Simon Heslop, Matt Rhead and Fergus Bell all went off to add to injury-hit Mansfield’s worries and take a little of the gloss of a fine away performance – their first draw of the season.
The trio made way in the second half as the Stags took a 46th minute lead through Heslop’s first goal for the Stags, conceded a 70th minute equaliser to Robinson, might have won it late on through Rakish Bingham, but then survived heavy home pressure in the closing stages.
However, the point was a deserved return as the Stags bounced back after two consecutive defeats and poor performances.
Heslop’s goal after the Stags had shaded the first half was a fine strike from the edge of the area after Matt Rhead tried to flick on Freeman’s long throw.
QPR loan defender Jamie Sendles-White made his Stags and League debut.
