Mansfield District Council, in association with the Armchair Club, is seeking nominations for the Mansfield Sports Recognition Awards 2014.

A total of 11 awards are up for grabs at the John Fretwell Sporting Complex, Sookholme, , from 7pm to 9pm Monday 8th, December.

For the first time, the junior sportsperson of the year award has been split into two age categories because of the large number of high quality entries in previous years, under 15 and 15 to 17.

The categories are: Junior team, junior sportsperson under 15, junior sportsperson 15 to 17 years, junior sports leader, junior disabled sportsperson, club, disabled sportsperson, sportsperson, coach, team of the year and volunteer (including referees, officials, administrators).

Nominees must either live or pursue their sport within the Mansfield district.

The deadline for nominations is Friday, 14th November.
