Underwood-based fire and security system installation and maintenance specialists Tecserv UK is sponsoring Underwood Villa Ladies FC.

The new team, formed for the 2022/23 season, plays its fixtures at Bracken Park, Underwood in Division 1 of the Derbyshire Girls & Ladies League. It has a dedicated squad of 18 players, with the majority living locally.

Manager Andrew Eastwood said: “There has never been a better time to become associated with ladies’ football following the success of England Ladies and the upcoming World Cup in 2023, which will be played in Australia and New Zealand. We are delighted to have Tecserv UK on board as a sponsor and look forward to working together to promote and build the female game.”
