Mansfield Town midfielder Chris Spencer has joined Evo-Stik Northern Premier League outfit Mickleover Sports on a three-month loan deal.

The 18-year-old had just returned to One Call Stadium following a one-month loan stay at Hednesford Town, of Vanarama National League North, before linking up with the Derbyshire club in a bid to gain match-minutes.

On Spencer’s latest move, first team coach Micky Moore said: “Mickleover have had a fantastic last couple of seasons, the managers there have done really well.

“This will be another step to allow Chris to play some much-needed football and it’ll be a move which will be beneficial to him.”
